Mythology Research Assignment

   Mythology comes in many forms and story types, but they also come from many countries around the globe.  Your objective is to research, either with books or on the internet, a mythological story from another culture, then present it to the class.  Your presentation will include:

  • a written summary of the story and the characters
  • an explanation of the importance of the myth for that culture
  • the type of myth it is considered (heroic, creation, moral) with several effective reasons

   Students will be assigned a country or particular culture in history in which they will conduct their research.  Utilize the rubric to ensure completion of all required elements.  Attach rubric to written summary when handed in on due date.
